I know you are in heaven in God's hands, smiling down on us. You've left a permanent impact of love and inspiration not only in me, but everyone you met over your 86 years on Earth. Thank You Mr. Y for the positive change you had on this world, for making a difference in so many people's lives. For being someone we could depend on for guidance, support and knowledge! Words can't begin to express my sadness. Mr. Yanora was my homeroom teacher from 1993-1996. He had me checking attendance and taking the absentee cards to the office. And I would clean and organize his desk every morning. High school was hard for me, I had few friends and was picked on daily. But, I always loved being in homeroom. Mr. Yanora made me feel important. I had thought about him recently and wondered how he was, to see the news today broke my heart. To his family, you are in my thoughts and know he has made a huge impact on many lives.

Mr. Yanora will be missed, he was a mentor to me the years I played soccer 1995-1997 at Niceville High School. He made me laugh and believed in me when I felt no else did. The world is going to miss a special person.

He was such an amazing teacher and never made me feel dumb. He didn't laugh when I asked to be in Anatomy and Physiology Honors even though I was an average student. He made me feel smart. He was encouraging, to this day I tell my son about his awesome classes and dissection. He was one of those teachers movies are made of. Rest well Mr. Yanora, I'm sure your raising a little hell up there in your kilt and with other Notre Dame fans ♡ thank you for making a difference. Class of 97!
