Joan Cecelia Miller

Joan Cecelia Miller passed away at her home in Ft. Walton Beach on Sunday, September 1, 2019.  She has been a resident of this area since 1980. 

Mrs. Miller will be remembered as a devoted, loving wife, a good friend and pet mom, and avid Bridge player. 

She was born May 29, 1931, in Orange, New Jersey, to John and Mary Voelker. 

She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert R. Miller, USN Ret., her parents and three siblings. 

Surviving family includes her sister, Veronica Mosley of Waukegan, IL, and several nieces and nephews. 

We especially want to thank family friends, Barbara Bethea, Leslie Bethea and Monica Reed, as well as Visiting You Senior Home Care, Emerald Coast Hospice and All Pets Sitting Service for their care, concern, assistance and support. 

There will be a visitation and reception on Sunday, September 15, 2019 from 1:00 P.M. – 3:00 P.M. at Emerald Coast Funeral Home, 161 Racetrack Road NW, Ft. Walton Beach, FL 32547. 

Interment will take place on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, FL.
