Jessica Layne Scott

Jessica Layne Scott, surrounded by her husband and children, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2021 after a lengthy battle with cancer. 

"Jess" was born on September 18, 1981, in Riverton, Wyoming.  It was evident at a very young age that Jess wanted to be involved in helping children learn and grow. Her brothers, Ryan, Kyle and stepbrother Mike were often her "students" in her make-believe classrooms growing up.

Jessica's most cherished dream come true and most fulfilling role in her life was being a wife and mother.  In March of 2000 Jessica met Andrew Scott, her husband now of 20 years.  The two were married in 2002, began a family, pouring their love and dreams into raising their 3 children.  

During their marriage Jess pursued an education and career in child development.  She spent the last 13 years with the Child Development Center on Eglin AFB where she made many friends while dedicating herself to making a difference in children's lives. 

The loss of Jessica - a friend to many, a daughter, a sister, a loving wife, and mother will forever leave an emptiness in the hearts of those that knew and loved her. 

Jessica is survived by her husband Andrew Scott, their Children - Mariah, Hailey, and Aden as well as her brothers and multiple family members that will miss her dearly.
