Jayden Noah McMillie (Jaybird, Angel Baby, BOOV), age 5, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2019 at Eglin AFB, Florida.  Jayden was born on June 30, 2014 in Shreveport, Louisiana to parents, Shawon William Harris McMillie and Marcela Jaramillo McMillie.  Jayden was a loving, compassionate, friendly and happy child who always put everyone else first.  He loved and could name every dinosaur but especially loved sharks.  He always said he was going to grow up to save all the sharks.  Jayden always said he was going to start his own YouTube channel opening toys and he was going to call it “Jaybird’s Treehouse”. 

Jayden is survived by his parents, Shawon and Marcela McMillie of Eglin AFB; brother, Giovanni Danilo Alvarado (McMillie); Grandparents, Angel Danilo Ramirez and Yolanda Diez of Greenville, SC; David Daniel McMillie and Loria Denise McMillie of El Paso, TX; Great Grandmother, Carolina Salas; Great Grandfather, Jesus Diez both of Medellin, Colombia; Aunts, Veronica Garcia of Greenville, SC, Kristyn Sue McMillie of Sterling Heights, MI and Kayla Jean and Jeremy Robert Pustejovsky of Las Vegas, NV; Uncles, Juan Gonzalo Yarce, Joshua William McMillie of El Paso, TX; Great Aunts, Olga Diez, Gloria Diez Irma, Margarita Diez; Great Uncles, Roberto Diez and Carlos Diez all of Medellin, Colombia; Aunts, Andrea Jaramillo and Diana Jaramillo of Lowell MA, Wednesday LaShell Ball of San Antonio, TX and Thursday Rose Richards of El Paso, TX. Great Grandmother, Sharon Ann McMillie (LaPalm) of Grandville, MI; Cousins Tristen DeAttrick Ball, Sierra Rayne Richards, Chase Jayden Richards, and Choice Brayden Richards, El Paso, TX; Landon Lee-Daniel Pustejovsky, Las Vegas, NV and numerous other Great Aunts, Great Uncles and Cousins. He loved his pets “Guinea Winnies” Pepe and Nola (Guinea Pigs)

Jayden is preceded in death by his Grandmother, Cheryl Jean McMillie (Mack); Great Grandfathers, Emerald Velmer Mack, William Byron McMillie and Antonio Jaramillo; Great Grandmothers, Marion Rose Mack (Winker) and Rosa Erminia Echandia; Great Aunts, Cielo Jaramillo and Iris Jaramillo and numerous other Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and family. 

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 2, 2019 at 12:00 P.M. at Emerald Coast Funeral followed by a funeral service at 1:00 P.M.  A reception will take place as well at Emerald Coast Funeral Home from 2:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M.
