Jana Ayn Harner loved  adventure and was happiest jumping out of a perfectly good airplane.  She made her final jump from this earth to heaven Monday, February 5, 2018 at the age of 26.  Jana loved skydiving, fishing, and anything that kept her in touch with nature.  Jana wanted to travel the world and was able to live in Italy and visit Europe.  Jana dreamed of getting a camper and visiting all the national parks in the United States.

Jana achieved one of her life goals by joining the United States Army as a parachute rigger.  Jana served her country while on duty in Aviano, Italy and was most recently stationed at Fort Stewart, Georgia.  The most beautiful aspect of Jana’s military service was that her job was an extension of her beloved hobby-skydiving.

Jana is survived by her beloved wife, Amy Harner; her parents, James and Kimberly Kittrell; and a sister, Darien Kittrell.

A Celebration of Life will be Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 10 AM at Emerald Coast Funeral Home with Chaplain Larry Carter officiating.  Interment will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery at 2 PM with full military honors.
