Jacqueline A. Lewis, age 81, passed away Thursday October 25, 2018 in Niceville, Florida. She was born October 29, 1936 in Andalusia, Alabama to JV and Edith Carter Adams. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Roy “Doug” Lewis in 2010, her parents, and a brother Samuel Adams. Jacqueline was a very strong Christian lady and a member of Oakland Baptist Church where she served actively in ministries. Her hobbies included painting, taking photographs, drawing, writing poetry, reading, and gardening. Jacqueline and her husband Doug owned and operated Coast City Metals for many years and retired in 1994. Jacqueline leaves her Cherished memories to her loving daughters Cyndi Stevens (Austin) and Lisa Day (Mitch); brother Joe Adams (Zora); grandchildren Arron Stevens (fiancée Kim Davies), Laura Branham-Claton (Fred), Tyler Day (Jenna), Chase Day; great grandchildren Freddy and Mason; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held 10:00- 11:00 a.m., Tuesday October 30, 2018 at Emerald Coast Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Brother Jerry Nelson officiating.
