Inge Wuerth

Inge Wuerth, 82, passed away peacefully in her sleep at Twin Cities Hospital on Saturday, December 22, 2018 after a long illness.  She was born in Essen, Germany on January 22, 1936 to the late August and Maria (Oyen) Giese, the first of three children.  In May of 1955, Inge immigrated to the United States, where she worked and lived in New York City.  Inge met and married the love of her life, Roland Weurth in 1977.  Inge and Roland enjoyed traveling to many countries and continents until 1986 when Roland passed away.  Ten years later, Inge retired and moved to Shalimar, FL. to be near her brother and his family.  She is survived by her brother, Juergen Giese and wife Toni, of the Villages, FL.; sister, Sigrid Isermann, of Essen, Germany; her nephew, Peter Giese and family of Tampa, FL.; her niece, Diana Giese and son Alex of Gainesville, FL, as well as several nieces and nephews in Germany.  A Memorial service and Celebration of Life is scheduled for Sunday, January 6, 2019 at 1:00 PM-3:00 PM at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of the Emerald Coast 1295 Bayshore Drive in Valparaiso, FL.  Upon Inga’s wishes, she will be buried next to her husband, Roland Weurth, in Long Island National Cemetery, Long Island, NY at a later date.  In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to PAWS in Ft. Walton Beach, FL.
