Inez A Wadford

“I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one” Inez A. Wadford, with her loving family by her side, she left her earthly home to join her Savior on January 23, 2022. Inez was born in Montgomery County, near Ramar, AL. on August 13, 1930. She was a resident of Baker, FL. for 16 years where she enjoyed the fellowship of other believers at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church. Inez was preceded in death by her father, Edvin Alsabrook; her mother, Annie Lee Gibson; and her husband of 65 years, Elbert S. Wadford. Inez A. Wadford is survived by daughters, Angela C. Bradley, and husband Fred; Rhonda McLaughlin and husband Eddie; and Deborah Harlson and husband David; grandchildren, Stephanie and Hunter Campbell, Shane and Brian Fedorak, and Destiney Harlson McDonald; and 10 great-grandchildren. She cherished sewing and loving her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Inez enjoyed many years of retirement from the Alatex Textiles Company. One of Inez’s favorite past times was spending time with family and friends, especially children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. One thing you could always count on was, you would never leave Gran Gran’s house hungry. A time of visitation will be held at 10:00 am and services will start at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, 5595 Florida 4 South, Baker, FL 32531. Burial will follow at Live Oak Park Memorial Cemetery. The family wishes to express their utmost gratitude to Silver Crest Health and Rehab, Emerald Coast Hospice, and Dr. Christopher for their support during her final hours. The family is accepting flowers but would much appreciate donations made to Emerald Coast Hospice. Arrangements are entrusted to Emerald Coast Funeral Home.
