Helen Anderson

Helen Bullard Anderson of Destin, Florida passed away February 23, 2020. She was born in Brundidge, Alabama and grew up in Andalusia, Alabama.  Helen raised her family in Opp, Alabama and later retired to Destin.  She was a longtime faithful member of First Baptist Church of Destin.  Preceding her in death were her parents and her loving husband of 54 years, James.  She is survived by her children Anita Page (Patrick), Diane Smith (Greg), Bryan Anderson (Laura), Murray Anderson (Alice); eight grandchildren Jameson, Colin, Garrett, Carolyn, Robert, William, Daniel, and Lauren; and two great grandchildren Lillie Grace and Grace Ann.  A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 29, 2020 at First Baptist Church of Destin.  Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to First Baptist Church of Destin, 201 Beach Drive, Destin, FL 32541, or a charity of your choosing.
