Harry Keel

MSgt. (Ret) Harry Keel, age 81, of Fort Walton Beach, Florida passed away peacefully after a courageous battle of various illnesses on January 27, 2020.  Harry Keel was born in Statesboro, GA to George and Annabell (Fennell) Keel.  He was married to Nellie Keel for 60 years.  Harry was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather.  He is survived by his wife, Nellie; children, Victor, Renwick, Tonda (Willie), Harry W.,Donna (Kenneth); brother, Robert (Louiser) Keel; grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Harry’s hobbies included fishing, traveling and Sudoku puzzles.  He served faithfully and honorably 23 years in the United States Air Force and proceeded to serve an additional 20 years in the Department of Defense.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Emerald Coast Funeral Home beginning at 11:00 A.M. with burial to follow at Heritage Gardens Cemetery with full military honors.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. on Friday, January 31, 2020.
