Gregory Scott Bunn

Gregory Scott Bunn, age 61, passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021, at Ft. Walton Beach Medical Center. He was born in Moses Lake, Washington on December 28, 1959, the only child of June Boyett Bunn and the late Lt. Col. Mel Bunn. As a member of a military family, he lived on several Air Force Bases before finally settling in Fort Walton Beach, FL.

He was a graduate of Silver Sands School and attended programs at Horizons (now A.R.C.) and Pyramid. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and a charter member of the Wesley Sunday School class. Greg will be remembered for his mischievous nature, sense of humor, his “Gregisms” and the ability to always create excitement wherever he went!

He is survived by his devoted mother, June, his loving aunt, Edna Clair, special god-sister, Laura Tate, and several cousins. He also appreciated his cousins, Gay and Alan Martin, for their continued support.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Ft. Walton Beach Developmental Center, Ft. Walton Beach Medical Center, and Emerald Coast Hospice for their kindness and professional care. To honor Greg, please donate to the charity of your choice.

Interment will be at Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, FL, where he will be laid to rest with his hero, his dad.
