Gerda Schneider Conway

Gerda Schneider Conway went to be with the Lord on June 2, 2021. Gerda was born August 6,1938, in Weidenhausen, Germany.

Gerda loved to travel and enjoyed many trips throughout the US in addition to cruises in the Western Caribbean. She was well known for her cooking skills and especially her "strawberry shortcake" that made any occasion special if she made one for you! She loved her family and friends and will be deeply missed.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, John David Conway.

Gerda is survived by her daughter, Gerda Patricia Boehlert; son, Robert Joe Batson and wife Theresa and daughter, Barbara Marie Hynes; grandchildren, Jason Alexander Hynes and wife, Emi, Christopher James Joseph Boehlert, Jessica Elaine Batson and Nicholas Ralph Batson and wife, Kristen; great grandchildren, Colton Alexander Hynes, Kenna Marie Hynes, Emberly Kelly and Andrian Arias.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2021, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. with a Celebration of Life Service to follow from 11:00 a.m. to noon at Emerald Coast Funeral Home & Reception Center, 161 Racetrack Road NW, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32547.
