George G. Carter

On Friday, May 24, 2019, George “Greg” Carter, loving husband and father, passed away at the age of 59.  Greg was born on October 1, 1959 in Wilmington, NC to George and Geraldine Carter.  On April 16, 1983 he married Barbara (née Grainger) Carter.  They raised two daughters, Jennifer and Sabrina, and are raising their granddaughter Rylie.  He was a proud retired Senior Master Sergeant of the United States Air Force and a passionate fan of the Dallas Cowboys.  Greg was preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine.  He is survived by his wife, Barbara, his daughters, Jennifer and Sabrina, his granddaughters Jazmin and Rylie, his father, George, his brother Mike, and his sister Debbie.  There will be no funeral services.  In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the American Lung Association.
