Fairley M. White

SMSgt. Fairley Maurice White "Grumpy " 78, of Mary Esther Florida, passed away on Sunday October 17th, 2021.

After his retirement from the military, Mr.White worked for several security companies in our area for 15 years. After which Mr.White worked for Prince enterprises for 25 years.

Mr.White was known to many as Grumpy or Grump. He was an avid fisherman with respect and love for nature which he passed onto his family. Mr.White was an avid reader and was self taught in everything he did. His daughter, Marti Ann, called him the smartest man she knew. 

Mr.White is proceded in death by his parents Helen and Brice White, and younger brother Kirwin Terry White. He left behind a wife, Martha, of 56 ½ years, a son Brice White, and daughter Marti Ann Oliver. Also four grandchildren Toni M. Labatt, Mark D. Simmons, Jr., Crystal D. German, and Tiffany Ann Oliver. Eleven great grandchildren, Savannah 15, Aiden 14, Hayden 12, Montez 11, Abbie 10, Austin 9,  Zaniah 8, Alaina, 8, Adeline, 6, Nassir, 4, and Dylan, 3.

Also surviving brothers Mack E. and Royce L. White, both of Kentucky, and sister Bricelene G. Fleming of Ohio.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at Barrancas National Cemetery at 2:30 PM with full military honors.

Memories will be shared after the ceremony at the home of Marti Oliver in Navarre, Florida.
