Essie A Roberts

Essie A. Roberts, age 88, of Destin, Florida passed away peacefully at home on Friday, September 11, 2020.  Essie was born on April 2, 1932 in Fort Myers, FL to Lewis Sleeper Anderson and Essie Estelle Yon Anderson.  She married on April 14, 1958 in Magnolia, MS to John Duard Roberts.  Essie graduated from Central High School in Central Louisiana.  She was an artist who painted beautiful oil paintings, she did art shows for many years.  Her favorite thing to paint was a beautiful magnolia.  Essie did all types of flowers, landscapes, seascapes, boats, and wildlife.  She was a crafty person who could sew, woodwork, crochet, and do just about any type of arts and crafts.  

She is predeceased by her loving husband of 64 years, John Duard Roberts; Essie is survived by her three children in order of birth are Rhonda Lamendola, married to Lou Lamendola, "Buddy" Duard Wayne Roberts, and Lori Moore, married to Gerald Moore; Five grandchildren, Karrie Delise, married to Brad Delise, Jason Roberts, married to Valory Roberts, Jeff Roberts, married to Briana Roberts, Katie Moore, and Connor Moore; Four great-grandchildren, Landon, Brayden, Ava Kate, and Beaux.
