Emma Kate (Kay) Manning, age 85, of Fort Walton Beach, FL, passed away on April 6, 2018. She was born in 1933 to Herbert and Cecil Barnes, in West Point, MS. She served in the US Air Force and retired from a career in Civil Service. She will be missed and remembered by all those she loved, embraced and supported during her life. Her heart shined brightly in her many roles: daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother and friend. She embraced everyone with her love, charity, wit and humor. She was a prolific cook, and found joy in sharing her gift with family, friends, and strangers. She is predeceased by her husband, Harold Thomas Manning. She is survived by her children, Tom and Jeff, her granddaughters, Kristin and Courtney, great grandson Nolan, her beloved sister, Rubye and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
