Ellen Carroll Robison

Ellen Carroll Robison, age 65, of Niceville, FL passed away on September 22, 2022, surrounded by her loved ones. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Robert “Robby” Robison, and their daughters, Dea Stephens, Ashley Taylor, and Cassandra Robison. She is also survived by brother, Michael Habrukovich, his wife Linda, and their daughters Lauren and Allyson; sons-in-law, Richard Stephens, Rob Taylor, and Cody Holtz; grandchildren Clara, Collin, and Blake; and many ‘adopted’ family members that she was happy to mother.

Ellen grew up in Waterbury, CT, and graduated from Boston College, going on to serve as a nurse in the United States Air Force. She met Robby in 1980 when he was a patient in her hospital, married in 1981, and the rest is history. While she never quite learned “tact and diplomacy,” as she was told she should, she had a quick wit that she passed on to her children.

Family was at the center of Ellen’s life. For several years she was a stay-at-home mom and dedicated volunteer for many of her daughters’ schools and activities, while also operating Mom’s Pickup & Delivery Service with an exclusive, dedicated clientele. She particularly enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren in any way she possibly could, ensuring the successful performance of many favorite retailers. One of her favorite recent experiences was a cruise celebrating her birthday with her family, especially morning coffee with everyone together on the verandah.

While no amount of time with Ellen would ever be enough, her family is grateful for the years together and celebrate her life. May her memory be eternal.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at 4:00 P.M. at Emerald Coast Funeral Home, 161 Racetrack Road NW, Fort Walton Beach, FL, with a short prayer service at 5:00 P.M.

The funeral will take place on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. at Saints Markella & Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 104 Bryn Mawr Blvd, Mary Esther, FL.
