Edith J. (Davis) Hock

Edith Jeannette Hock was born in Deshler, Ohio October 10, 1933, to Charles Herbert Davis and Glenna Elizabeth Hackenberger-Davis. They moved to North Baltimore, OH where she attended school and graduated in 1951. She then attended shortly Toledo Hospital School of Nursing. In 1953, she married the love of her life Harold Guy Hock from Van Buren, OH, and became a U.S. Air Force military wife living in Germany first before they were stationed all over the eastern U.S.

She is preceded in death by her parents; two older brothers, Marcus and Glenn Davis; husband; and youngest son Vincent Hock.  She is survived by her oldest son Ronald Alan and wife Tricia, daughters Elizabeth Smith and Diana Breeden, 3 nephews, 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and her first great-great-granddaughter.   She loved music and gardening, playing the piano, refinishing furniture, and was a wonderful dressmaker and designer. More than anything, she loved her big family get-togethers. She was active in Cinco Baptist Church serving on the Baptism team and serving each year in  V.B.S.

She will indeed be missed by her family.
