Earline "Granny" Tennes

Mrs. Earline C. Tennes (91) went to be with her loving Lord and Savior on July 18, 2019.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 23 at Emerald Coast Funeral Home Chapel, Fort Walton Beach, FL.  Visitation will be held at 10 AM with the service to follow at 11 AM.  Internment will follow at Beal Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Tennes is a long-time servant of Wright Baptist Church.  Singing, teaching, sign language interpretation, and leading many programs. She was a nurse and cancer survivor with a heart for loving and serving all of God's children.

She is predeceased by her  husband, Rev. Gene Tennes, three children (Patrick, Patricia, Betty), step-daughter (Jean), three sons-in-law (Bob, James, Dane), and ten siblings.

Surviving her are a brother, Louis, a daughter, Barbara, a grand-daughter, Trish (Sean), two grand-sons, Buddy and Paul.  Seven great-grandchildren.  The many Cowart family nieces and nephews. Three step-children of 42 years, Karen, Ruthie (Gerald), and Gene (Elaine). Seven step-grand children, Jason, Erica, Tina, Adam, Melissa, Kristen, and Caleb.  Eight step-great-grand children.

The family would like to express their gratitude for the love, care and support of family, friends and the community. Mrs. Tennes (Granny) is now among the Heavenly choir with her Jesus. It would be hers and our greatest hope for you to have the same beautiful homecoming.
