Mr. Earl B. Bols, age 81, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on June 30, 2021.  Mr. Bols was born in Madison, Wisconsin on February 22, 1940.  He began his career with Pantry Pride as a Meat Cutter and Manager for sixteen years.  He then went on to work as a meat cutter at the Eglin Air Force Base Commissary, before retiring in 2005. Mr. Bols was a member of the Moose Lodge, and was a lifetime member of the Elks Lodge # 1795 of Fort Walton Beach.

Mr. Bols is preceded in death by his parents, Victor Bols and Agnes Strickland; and his sister, Vicky Westmore.  Mr. Bols is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Nell Bols; two daughters, Brenda (Darren) Hibbs & Tricia (Mark) Shannon; three granddaughters, one grandson, and one great-granddaughter; two sisters, Linda Yandle & Junie (Pete) Bostich; his special friends, Bob Joseph and Elaine & Dave Nihart; and a host of nieces, nephews, loved one, and friends. 

The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to the staff of Emerald Coast Hospice—especially, Lindsey, Jovi, Carol, Laure, Crandline, Chris, and Paula.

The family will celebrate Earl’s life at a graveside service on Friday, July 9, 2021, at 10:00 am at Beal Memorial Cemetery, in Fort Walton Beach.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that you consider a donation in Earl’s name to a charity of your choice or the Emerald Coast Hospice, 1301 Eglin Pkwy D, Shalimar, FL 32579.
