Dorothy Marie Sneed

In loving memory of our mother, Dorothy Fish Warrick Sneed, 90, we announce her passing on Wednesday, December 21, 2022.  She was surrounded by her family and friends at her home in Freeport. FL. Her burial will be on March 8, 2023, at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, FL. She will lie in rest next to her beloved husband, Richard A. Sneed.

Mother was born in Tennessee on March 8, 1932, to parents Sylvester and Emmie George Fish of Dekalb County.  She lived in Kentucky before moving with her family to Fort Walton, Beach, FL. Mom's chosen career was Chef for various establishments.  She had seven children:  Johnnie Warrick-Collins, Brooksville, FL, Richard D. Sneed (recently deceased), Smiths Grove KY, Patsy Mitchell, Freeport, FL, Terry Sneed, Mossy Head, FL, Mark Sneed, Navarre, FL, Beth Van Doren, Freeport, FL, Lissa Sneed, Fort Walton Beach, FL.  Mother had 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.  Mother had multiple nieces, nephews and cousins in Tennessee.

 Per Mother's wishes, she asked that in lieu of flowers or other remembrances that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
