Donald R. "Don" Auger

Donald R. “Don” Auger, age 79, of Shalimar, FL, passed away Friday, April 6, 2018.  He was born November 1, 1938 in New Bedford, MA to the late Bartholomew Auger and Lauretta Auger.

Don retired from the United States Air Force with 24 years of service. Don has left many friends that respected and loved him, he never met a stranger.  He had a big heart and loved his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Maria; sons and daughters; three sisters, Dot, Therese and Claire.

A funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at 10 AM at St. Peter’s Catholic Church with Father Paul White officiating.  Interment will follow at 2 PM at Barrancas National Cemetery with military honors.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, April 9, 2018 from 6 until 8 PM.  Expressions of love and sympathy may be placed and viewed online at www.emeraldcoastfuneralhome.com
