Diane B. Keller

Diane Keller, City Council woman of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully in her home and went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at the age of 62. She was born on July 28, 1956 in Andrews, South Carolina to Walter and Lillie Brown. She graduated from Coastal Carolina University with a degree in Psychology. Diane worked in real estate for over 30 years and was the owner/broker of Endless Horizons Realty since 1994. She was an active member and held a number of important positions in Kiwanis, Florida Realtors, Emerald Coast Association of Realtors, and served on numerous committees. Diane was a committed member of her church and had a close, personal relationship with Jesus Christ. She vigorously supported organizations and efforts that would help people struggling with addiction. She had a true passion for everyone she came in contact with and always encouraged those around her to push for their full potential. Diane was an avid runner and set a goal to run a 5k or half marathon in every state; she ran in forty-two states! She lived an amazing life and accomplished so much in such a short time. She was a beloved mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed.

Diane is survived by her fiancé, Don Cloer Jr, daughter Bridget Watson, daughter Amber Carpenter and husband Shane, son Drew Barbaresi, daughter Alexis Weeks and husband Cole Weeks. She is also survived by her grandchildren Justin Watson, Brittany Watson, Cole Watson, Sutton Carpenter, Abilene Carpenter, and great grandchildren Asher and Saylor. Survivors also include brother Bruce Brown and wife Ann, sister Sandra Williams, sister Velma Mobley and husband Sammy, sister Selma Cantley, son-in-law JD Watson, and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a celebration of life at Emerald Coast Church Assembly of God,117 Jonquil Ave, NW, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548 on Thursday, September 6. Public viewing will be from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm with the service starting at 1:00 pm, followed by a burial at Beal Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Justin Watson, Cole Watson, Shane Carpenter, Cole Weeks, James Barbaresi, JD Watson, Wayne Barlow, and Flynn Morris.
