Lt. Colonel Deborah McCall, 61, of Holley-Navarre, FL, passed away on August 28, 2017. She was born to Gladys and William Jarrell on November 2, 1955 in Cleveland Ohio. She will be remembered as a soldier and loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. She was someone who could touch hearts and save lives--nursing was her destiny. She is predeceased by her father William Jarrell. She is survived by her mother Gladys Jarrell; brothers Troy Jarrell, William Jarrell, Carl Jarrell, Christopher Jarrell; husband Timothy McCall; children William Hess and Crystal McCall; grandchild Silas Hess. Deborah was an outstanding person that encouraged everyone she met to dream bigger and brighter. She took the time to help those around her achieve their dreams. If you were in her presence you knew she was special. Caring for her family, friends, and patients was her pride and joy. Her time in the military took her from a Telecommunications Technician to a Family Nurse Practitioner working on a Doctorate in Nursing. Her mama bear attitude awarded her the title Fearless Leader by her community. Kindness, compassion, selflessness, willingness to learn, had made Debbie a true hero to us all. Donations may be made to the “The Fisher House” and Hurlburt Field’s “Airman’s Attic” in Deborah's name.
