Daniel Albert Cooper

Daniel A. Cooper, age 93, of Ft. Walton Beach, FL., passed away on January 20, 2020. Dan was born to Benjamin and Sarah Cooper, on September 15, 1926, in Memphis, TN. 

Dan will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He is predeceased by his loving wife, Betty and his three brothers Herman, Charlie and Nathan.

Dan was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and served during WWII. Afterwards, Dan operated  successful retail and real estate businesses in Atlanta, GA, and relocated to Ft. Walton Beach, FL in 1977, where he owned and operated his own property management company until his retirement to spend time with his wife and family.

Dan is survived by his children, Steve Cooper (Robyn), Robyn Cooper, Benjamin Cooper and Lisa Cooper Crowell (Jon); his grandchildren Shaun Cooper, Michelle Cooper Miller (Andy), Ryan Cooper, and Gabriela and Savannah Crowell, and his great-grandchildren Jacob and Cooper Miller. 

Dan adored his wife and family, enjoyed life and forever will be present in our hearts. 

A private military funeral will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at Barrancas National Cemetery.
