Cynthia Cay Spencer, of Mary Esther, age 65, passed away peacefully September 17th due to complications with COpd. She was born March 6, 1955 in Shreveport Louisiana to James and Diane Spencer.
Cyndi spent most of her life in Fort Walton Beach Florida. After attending Choctawhatchee High School, she spent time in Nevada where she studied accounting and business at Western Nevada Community College before settling in Mary Esther where she spent the rest of her days.
She took pride in everything she did, was independent, self-sufficient and known for being extremely stubborn.
Her daughter remembers hers as the greatest mother anyone could ask for. Sometimes working two jobs to make ends meet. An angel on earth she taught her everything she knows and is the reason for whom she is today. If she was your friend, she would do whatever she could to help. She was many peoples best friend, confidant, therapist, and rock. She would always quote the song “you can't always get what you want” by the Rolling Stones “you can't always get what you want but sometimes you just might find you get what you need”. It is believed now; she has everything she ever wanted or needed.
Cyndi is survived by her daughter Felicia Spencer, mother Diane Spencer, sister Sherry Roberts and her brother's children two children Julie and Jamie.
Please join us in celebrating her life Friday the 25th of September. Starting at 1pm at Emerald Coast Funeral Home 161 Racetrack Rd NW, Fort Walton Beach FL 32547
