Cletus Glenn Osburn

On Friday , December 14, 2018, Cletus Glenn Osburn, loving husband and father of three daughters, passed away at the age of 85 from complications of a stroke.

Cletus was born on September 28, 1933 in Sparta, MO to Johnie and Thelma (Garrison) Osburn. He married Edith May Clark  On January 7, 1954 and together they raised three daughters. After being stationed in Alaska, Colorado, Maine, Ohio, and Florida, he retired from the United States Air Force in 1972.  Cletus then went on to retire from his second career with Vitro in Ft Walton Beach, FL.

Cletus loved his dog Emo, named after his wife of 54 years, Edith, who passed away in 2007.  He enjoyed playing bingo at the Navarre Senior Citizen’s Center and having gravy and biscuits every Sunday morning at Alphy’s.

Cletus was preceded in death by his father Johnie, his mother’s Thelma, and brothers Emerson Eugene (Gene) and Darrell.  He is survived by daughters Charlene Raulerson (Cary), Charlotte Grosskoph (Tom), and Cheryl Fike (Troy), 9 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren, and several cousins.

In accordance with his wishes, he will be cremated with a private family service to follow.
