Christopher Jimell Clayton (Maestro, Lebowski) age 44, of Navarre, FL, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2019 in Fort Walton Beach, FL. Christopher was born at Andrews, AFB to Jimell F. Clayton and Karen B. Clayton. He served in the United States Army Infantry, Fighting Vehicle Infantryman-Sniper/Sharp Shooter. He will always be remembered as the best husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend forever. Christopher could make anyone smile and laugh no matter what they were going through. He is survived by his wife, Rachael; daughters, Erin-Jaide Marie (EJ) and Riley Ann Clayton; parents, Jimell F. Clayton and Karen B. Clayton; siblings, Katie (Adam) Clayton, Joey (Rachel) Clayton, Richy (Katie) Bradley; special friends, Ginger, Corinne (Ryan), Jessica and the Walgreens Family; grandmother, Betty; Uncle Pinky; Aunts, Maggie, Maria and Teresa; nieces, Celeste, Madilynn, Gracie, Michaela, Kyla and Justice; nephews, Jack, Andy, Michael, Myles and Koston; cousins, Gabe, Stephanie, Matt, Amanda and Spencer; in laws; Toni and Jack Silcox and Earl Ray and Stella McKinney; pets, RueDawg, Jessie, Mikey and Brownie.
A memorial service will take place on Saturday, January 4, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at Emerald Coast Funeral Home, 161 Racetrack Road NW, Ft. Walton Beach, FL 32547 with Army Honors. A reception will be held at St. Peter Catholic Church Annex at 100 Francis St, Mary Esther, FL 32569 at approximately 2:30 P.M. after the service.
