Charles Edward Speer

Charles Edward Speer, age 71, of Navarre, FL, passed away on November 9, 2018 in Ft. Walton Beach, FL.  Charles was born in Piggott, AR to parents Lloyd and Willa Dean Speer.  He was in the United States Air Force for 7 years working as an Aircraft Mechanic/Engineer on the F4 and F16 planes.  Charles was passionate, hardworking, and always had a positive and humorous outlook on life.  He enjoyed golfing, fishing, boating and painting (watercolors).  After his service in the military, he managed Lowes Home Improvement store for 16 years in Ft. Walton Beach, FL.  Charles then became a Realtor for ERA American Reality for the last 12 years.  He is predeceased by his father, Edward Speer.  He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Ramona Speer; his mother; Willa Dean Speer; his children, James Doug Speer, Mona Cavaness and Craig Mathews; brothers, Steve (Tomesa) Speer and David (Faye) Speer; sisters, Gail (William) Davis, Sue (William) Carson, Vickie Snow and Peggy (Gene) Otte; Nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.   A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, November 13 at 12:00 P.M. at Emerald Coast Funeral Home.  The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service.  Services will also be held in Bay, Arkansas on Friday, November 16, 2018 at 2:00 P.M.
