Charissa A. Hynson

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Charissa (Chrissy) A. Hynson, of Mary Esther, Florida on Saturday, February 13, 2021, at the age of 48.

She will be lovingly remembered by her baby and faithful pug Cooper; Father James Wilcox of the Philippines; Brothers, Shannon (Melinda) Wilcox of San Antonio, TX, Scotty A. Ratcliff of Ohio, and numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, and extended family members.

She was preceded by her loving Husband Richard E. Hynson, Mother, Sharon A. Wilcox, and Sister Kim.

Charissa was born on June 29, 1972 in Middleburg, Ohio, and as an Air Force child, moved around the world before her family settled in Okaloosa County, calling it home. Charissa was a free spirited, beautiful, and loving person. She gave something special to everyone she met, and never knew a stranger. Her world was centered around Cooper after Ricky passed away. She loved 4 wheeling, bon fires, and long drives. She always had a story to tell that would make you laugh. Charissa made many friends during her short life and will sorely missed by all. Her chosen family loves her and misses her very much.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on March 3, 2021 at Emerald Coast Funeral Home at 161 Racetrack Road in Fort Walton Beach, with final interment at Beal Cemetery immediately following.
