Cela Mary Vellines

Cela Mary Vellines, age 82, of Mary Esther, Florida passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2020.  Cela Vellines was born on January 27, 1938 in North Adams, Massachusetts to Thomas and Dorothy Holmes.  Cela married Charles Vellines on October 10, 1984 in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.  She worked for AAFES as Food Service Manager; she also loved travelling and spending time with family and friends. 

She is survived by her daughters; Stephanie Tuszynksi, Lori A. (Dirk) Wenrich and Virginia (Doug) Hebert; son, Charles (Karen) Vellines; Nineteen grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren; siblings, Linda Toothman and Lois Freeland.  Cela is preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Vellines; sons, Donald C. Tuszynski, Daniel C. Tuszynski, Thomas C. Tuszynski, Gary D. Tuszynski and John H. Vellines; Grandson, Richard Daniel Brooks; and Brother, Peter Holmes.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. at Emerald Coast Funeral Home, 161 Racetrack Road NW, Fort Walton Beach, Florida 32547.

Cela Vellines will be laid to rest beside her husband, Charles H. Vellines at Arlington National Cemetery.
