Carolyn L Wright

Carolyn L. Wright, age 83, of Fort Walton Beach, FL., passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 surrounded by family.  Carolyn was born in Lafayette, Indiana to parents, Clifton Lee and Juanita Cameron Lovell.

Carolyn worked for a few years in Data Reduction with Vitro and Republic Aviation before starting a career in Real Estate in the 60’s while living in Huntsville, AL.  Carolyn’s career in Real Estate spanned almost 45 years.  During her career she served as President of the Board of Realtors in Fort Walton Beach.  She was very active in the local Garnier Beach Garden Club and had also served as President.

Carolyn is predeceased by her parents, two sisters, and one brother.  She is survived by her husband, Jesse T. Wright of 65 years; daughters, Terry Wright Collum and Debby A. Wright, all of Fort Walton Beach; Grandchildren, Tommy Stair, Lisa and Jason Carroll, and numerous other family members.

The family would like to thank Vitas Healthcare and especially, Shane for her love and care during their time of need.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 17, 2018, from 5-7 P.M. at Emerald Coast Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Carolyn’s name to The American Cancer Society.
