Tribute

Buddy Lee Hall, 82, of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully in his family home on Wednesday, July 15, 2020. Born July 22, 1937 in Pekin, Indiana he joined the United States Air Force early and served his country for 24 years, retiring as a Senior Master Sergeant, before an additional 20 years of civil service.  He is survived by brother, Jack; sister, Rhonda; six children; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, along with his wife, Cheryl, with whom he shared 37 years of marriage.

Buddy was a good man who never met a stranger.  His charm and attitude won him friends wherever he went and you could bet he had a story to share. Whether coaching one of his kid’s teams or enjoying time on the water he loved being outdoors and had a great passion for running. During his life he ran 3 marathons and endless miles around the world.  He believed in always doing your best and encouraged others to do the same but what was most important to him was helping his family and those he loved. Whenever someone needed help with a car or just looking for good advice, Buddy was the place to turn.  He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.  There will be a small private memorial held in his honor. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
