Brayford Hudson Lowery, age 74, of Mary Esther, FL passed away on July 29, 2017. The family will receive guests, Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 4pm followed by a Celebration of Life at 5pm from Nelson Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Peggy Cunningham Lowery of Mary Esther, FL, 2 daughters, Missy (Jeffery “Bear”) Tucker of Brookwood, AL, and Tricia (Wade) Norris of Moyock, NC. He was Pops to 3 grandchildren, Adam Norris of Portsmouth, VA, Hudson Tucker of Asheville, NC, and Amanda Norris of Portsmouth, VA; two brothers, Hoyt Lowery of Dora, AL, Tommy Lowery of Tampa, FL, sisters Beulah Box of Northport, AL, and Alene Lowery of Fayette, AL. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Carrie Lowery. Brayford enjoyed spending time at his cabin in the in Great Smoky Mountains.
