Bobby Bass

Bobby Gene Bass, age 83, passed away peacefully at home in Fort WaltonBeach, Florida on Saturday, February 13, 2021. He was born on May 22, 1937 in Opp, Alabama to Luther and Callie Jackson Bass.   

Bobby served 4 years in the Army before moving to Fort Walton Beach where he worked for over 50 years as a Radar Technician/Site Chief at radar site A-20.

Bobby is survived by his wife Earline Sawyer Bass whom he married on January 21, 1961 in Enterprise Alabama.  He and Earline were married for sixty years. 

In addition to his wife, Bobby is survived by his Brother Max Bass (Nancy), his sister Pat Bass Wood, his children Clay Bass (Tami), Wendy Bass Jefferies, and Chris Bass. He also leaves behind four grandchildren Michael Bass, Hannah Williams, Steven Jefferies II and Jenna Jefferies, four great-grandchildren Addie and Garner Bass and Emma Leigh and Jackson Williams. He also had many Nieces, Nephews and Cousins that he loved very much.

His Family and Friends will have a celebration of life at home, on his Birthday May 22, 2021.  In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate a donation to Regency Hospice of Northwest Florida 11 Racetrack Road NE Suite G, Fort Walton Beach, FL. 32547
