Barry Duane Underwood "Red" of Baker, FL, was 53, along with his son, Barrett Duane Underwood, 14 years of age, went to be with their Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 2, 2021, just miles from home in Baker, FL.  

Barry was born in Vero Beach, FL on December 1, 1967, to Margaret and Jack Underwood.   He worked for 10 years as the Shop Supervisor for United Welding in Perry, FL.  Barry attended Lewis and Clark University in Godfrey, IL, where he attained an Associates in Applied Science for Drafting/CAD Technology in December 2011, with Honors and was inducted into a Secret Honors Society.  Following his graduation he maintained the position of Shop Supervisor and Drafting Specialist at Magnum Press in Jerseyville, IL, for 6 years.  After moving back home to Florida, he presided as Technical Writer at Overhead Garage Door in Pensacola, FL, was Owner/Operator of Curb Appeal Pressure Washing in the Santa Rosa and Okaloosa County areas.  When he left this world he was working at Lowe's in Fort Walton, FL, where he worked as a Plumbing Specialist and a Millwork's Specialist.    

Barry was a very wonderful, giving, kind man who would do anything for anyone and would not hurt a soul and always put his family first.  He was much loved by his family and friends.  He loved his children more than life itself.   Barrett was his best bud and Brandon, surviving son, was his heart.   He is survived by his estranged wife, Dawn Sullivan Underwood of Milton, FL, and son, Brandon Marvin Underwood; his mother, Margaret Dillon Underwood; brother, Thomas "Tucker" Bailey Underwood and Tina Ann Dawe, of Vassar, MI,; sister, Melissa Burch-Warr and Kevin Bergholtz of Chipley, FL,; several loving aunts, uncles,  nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Underwood.   

Services will be at Pilgrim's Rest Baptist Church, 5595 FL-4, Baker, FL 32531, on Friday, January 8, 2021, time to be determined.
