Richard Arnold Davis

Richard was born on December 17, 1942 to Roscoe A. & Muriel B. Davis of Taunton, Massachusetts.  Richard was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Judi of 44 years and a brother James.  Richard was a graduate of Taunton High School, and New England Technical Institute in Electronics.

Richard is survived by his devoted wife Elizabeth Gayle Brown of Highland Home, Alabama; son Russell Edward Davis of Shalimar; daughter Linda Diane Jackson and husband Gregory of Haughton, LA; step daughter Amy Elizabeth and husband Brad of Highland Home, AL.  Richard was blessed with three granddaughters Logan Diane, Gentry Marie, and Graycen Ann of Haughton, Louisiana and two step-grandchildren Jessika Gailyn Wallace and Kade Wallace of Highland Home, AL.  Richard loved all his family very much as a husband, father, and grandfather. 

Richard was an honorably discharged veteran who served in the U.S. Air Force, from 1962-1966.  He worked on Eglin AFB as a contractor for 40 years as an Electronics Technician, Supervisor, and Field Engineer.  His favorite past time was fresh water fishing.  He was an active member of the Shalimar United Methodist Church, for over 51 years, where he became a proud Stephen Minister.  Richard was also an avid Red Sox fan since his early teens.
