Bobbie Ray Brackenridge

Bobbie Ray Brackenridge, MSGT, passed away peacefully at his residence in Fort Walton Beach with wife and friends by his side. He was born In Clifton Forge, Virginia to the late Lonnie and Maude Brackenridge. After joining the United States Navy at the age of 17, he transitioned to the United States Air Force where he served as an aircraft munitions loader. He moved to Florida and retired as a Master Sergeant in 1973. After retirement, he worked as a welder for VITRO, and then went on to teach welding at Okaloosa Technical College.  Bobbie leaves many cherished memories in the hearts of his loving wife of 66 years Jane Brackenridge; son Bobbie Brackenridge (Cindy), daughter Debbie Folsom (Dale), and his extended family including brothers, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and “granddogs.”  Family will receive friends 10 -11:00 am Thursday, August 28th, 2019 at Emerald Coast Funeral Home in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Graveside services will follow at Beal Memorial Cemetery with full honors.
