SARAH ANNE JONES HAMBLETON of Ft Walton Beach passed away on May 14, 2017. Sarah was born on January 3, 1931 in Franklinville, NC to Bernice and Iula Jones.

Sarah’s first career was raising her three children. Later she was promoted to her higher calling as Grandma where she achieved greatness with her eight grandchildren.

Sarah was preceded in death by her husband John and her daughter Libbie (Elizabeth). She is survived by her sons and their wives John and Rhonda Hambleton and George and Elizabeth Hambleton and her grandchildren Kaleo, Gibson, Adam, Brian, Benjamin, Sarah, Luke and Randall and her sister Gracie Allred (Asheboro, NC).

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Emerald Coast Funeral Home at 10:00 am and immediately followed by a reception. Visitation will precede the service at 9:00 am.

At a later time a family service for Sarah’s ashes to be interred with her husband at Barrancas National Cemetery.
