Peggy Joan Tucker, age 76, of Fort Walton Beach, FL went to be with Jesus January 23, 2018 while surrounded by her husband, Terry L. Tucker, and family providing comfort, love and support for Peggy and each other.  Peggy was born February 17, 1941 to parents, Bryant Winford & Elaine Doris Williams in Gomez, FL.  She will be greatly missed, but will be tenderly remembered as being a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to all those that came to know her.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers Bryant Winford, Jr. and Jack Edwin Williams.  She is survived by: her husband, Terry, of thirty-eight years, her three daughters, Cherisse Ledford of Fayetteville, GA, Melonie Thomas (Richard) of Macon, GA, and April Gardner of Lynchburg, VA, her sisters, Beatrice “B” Miller, June Williams Hill (Wayne), and brother, Sammy Williams, grandchildren: Michelle Ledford, Jeremy Ledford (Brianne), Justin Ledford (Courtney), Christina Ledford, Kristen Ledford Harbin (David), Joshua Ledford; her great-grandchildren: Jack Stein, Destiny Rainey, Alannah Madison Ledford and Esther Grace Harbin, along with Peggy’s sister-in-law, Janet Asbury (Skip); and numerous nieces and nephews. 

A Celebration of Peggy’s life will be officiated by Pastor John McInnis on Monday, January 29, 2018 at 11 AM at Emerald Coast Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, January 28, 2018 from 6 until 8 PM.
