Lester M. Troutman Jr, age 88, of Shalimar, FL, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Belvedere Commons in Fort Walton Beach, FL. Born in West Charleston, West Virginia to Lester and Hazel Troutman. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Kinue Troutman, and son, Martin Troutman.  He retired from the United States Air Force as a MSgt after 26 years of service. After retiring from the Air Force, he oversaw the installation of security systems at military installations for Vitro Services before retiring in 1992.  Lester was an avid golfer, still playing at the age of 87, at the Eglin Golf Course.  He is survived by sons, Walter and wife Patricia, John, Andy and wife Kristine; grandchildren Alena, Ross, Phillip, Ashley, Matthew, Aaron, Michael, Nathan and Christian; great-grandchildren Isiah and Bailey.  Funeral services will be on Monday, January 29, 2018 at Emerald Coast Funeral Home in Fort Walton Beach at 2:00. The family will receive visitors one-hour prior. Internment will take place at Beal Memorial Cemetery.  The family wishes to thank the compassionate staff at Fort Walton Medical Center, Belvedere Commons and Regency Hospice.
