Judy Kennedy, age 74 passed away Thursday June 15, 2017 in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.  She was born in 1943 in Toledo, Ohio to Charles and Margaret Moore.  Judy was preceded in death by a daughter Jennifer Lynn Kennedy, her biological father, Charles Moore, her mother, Margaret Moore Mason, and her stepfather, George E. Mason.  Judy is survived by her loving husband of 55 years Jeri Kennedy; children Jeffrey Lee Kennedy (Donna), Joseph Earl Kennedy (Linda), Jason Scott Kennedy, and son-in-law, Jon Kennedy; siblings David L. Moore (Jeannette), Marian E. Moore, and James D. Mason; grandchildren Conner Lee Kennedy, Kori Leigh Kennedy- Crisp (Sam), Christopher Matthew Lee (Sydney), Kyle Joseph Kennedy, and Jared Evan Kennedy; Great-granddaughter Avry Lee Kennedy; nieces and nephews JoAnn Moore, Ryan Moore, Kimberly A. Vanlewen, and Daniel Moore; as well as many other family members. Judy was a proud mother and homemaker preferring to devote all her energies to family, friends, and community. She was a thirty-six year member of Pacesetters, a longtime member of RWOC, and ten-year Queen of her Red Hat group.  Family will receive friends and family 5:00 – 7:00 pm Friday June 23, 2017 at Emerald Coast Funeral Home.  A Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Saturday June 24, 2017 at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Judy’s honor to Relay For Life, 99 Eglin Pkwy NE, Suite 37, Fort Walton Beach , FL 32548.  Expressions of love and sympathy may be placed and viewed online at www.emeraldcoastfuneralhome.com
