You are in my thoughts and prayers. Mr. Joe meant so much to me. His smile, his humor could brighten anyone’s day. He will truly be missed. I know he’s already smiling down on us now. I am grateful to have known such a precious man.

Joe's sense of wonder, pure joy and sweet laughter will be greatly missed. He often danced through gatherings at the neighborhood memory cafes. The scripture tells us that we must be like children to enter the kingdom of heaven. Joe knew how to embrace that child-like spirit and it shone like a beacon of hope for all to see.
