We only knew Jennifer through her posting in our group Simply Newfie’s. She had painted and commented many times and we’d looked forward to her posts. She had a love of animals and loved Newfoundland’s. She will be greatly missed in our group.
Our condolences to the family and to her wonderful animals.
Thank you for all you have done.

There is a Promise found in the Holy Bible John 14: 1-6

V1 Let not your heart be troubled:Ye believe in God, believe also in me.
V2 in my father's house are many mansions: If it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
V3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there Ye may be also.
V4 And whither I go Ye know, and the way Ye know.
V5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
V6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Words of comfort for the Family and long time friends

I was just told 2 days ago that Jennifer has passed. I am saddened to hear, but know that she is smiling now. I went to school with Jennifer, at SFHS, and like all of us there, we ALL considered Jennifer to be a good friend. I saw her at the class reunion a few years ago, and her smile was still contagious. You will be missed Jennifer, but you will NEVER be forgotten.

Radiant Jennifer, God gave you beauty, brains, grace and generosity but denied you a long life. No, it is not fair but we know we shall see you again. You loved us, you inspired us. You showed us how to live, you taught us how to deal with illness. Yes, always teaching and living your truth so admirably. I am grateful you called me 'Aunt Joan'. What a privilege to know you. Thank you for all your encouragement. I love you, Jennifer, and we shall meet again. Aunt Joan

Jennifer’s personality sparkled. She was the embodiment of love, for all creatures great and small. She was the epitome of faith and resilience, getting stronger and more positive as her trials grew more severe. She was never without her ready sense of humor. She strengthened those who sought to comfort her. I have never observed more courage and grace, even as she faced setbacks and disappointments in her long, valiant fight against this disease that eventually took her from her family, and from us. She is now in our Lord’s hands. He has truly received one of the very best back into His presence. Until we meet again, dear Friend and Sister.

Like the moon reflecting the sun,
your light,
bright as the sun while you were on earth,
now shines in heaven,
for the earth,
like the moon,
to reflect.

I am so sorry for your loss. May the 'God of all comfort' be with you during this difficult time. I have personally found comfort in the promise at 1 Corinthians 15:26 where it states that very soon 'death will be brought to nothing'. Then, we have the prospect of being reunited with our loved ones right here on Earth (John 5:28,29). I truly hope this brings you comfort and peace. With deepest sympathies, Gwen and family.
