Greg Hess, age 66, of Mary Esther, FL, passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2017. He was born August 18, 1950 to parents, Richard Lewis Hess and Shirley Juanita (Shorts) Teofilo.

Greg will forever be remembered as a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and grandfather ("Popeye"). He honorably served 24 years in the US Air Force and retired as a MSGT. One of his favorite pastimes was sitting in his captain's chair watching a NASCAR race and rooting for his champion driver Jimmie Johnson. He loved reading his science fantasy novels, playing games on his tablet, and watching the latest movies on DVD. He also enjoyed a good cocktail.

He is predeceased by his wife, Rosalinda. He is survived by his son, John P Hess of Mary Esther, FL; daughter, Katherine S Hess of Enterprise, AL; mother, Shirley J Teofilo of Ashland, OH; sister, Pamela H Tresh of Ashland, OH; 2 nieces, a nephew, and 2 grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted at a later date to be determined.
