David Shaen Putnam, age 51, passed away peacefully February 12, 2017, with family and friends by his side in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. He was born in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee in 1965. David was a diesel mechanic in the boating industry. In his spare time he enjoyed playing golf, fishing, and spending quality time with his family and friends. He is survived by best friend and son Zachary Putnam (Ashley); grandson Kole Putnam; mother Martha Stevens (David); father Paul Putnam (Jody); sister Sha Munoz (Juan); brother Steven Putnam; step-sisters Jessica Cooper (Grant Ballis), Sharon Houck (Justin), Racheal Wilson (Jason), Veronica Bozeman (Randy); step-brothers Stevie Newton (Kim) and Jarrod Newton (Kim); and very special friend and caregiver Laurel Kelly; as well as numerous family members and friends. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service (no public viewing) will be 10:00am Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Emerald Coast Funeral Home, 161 Racetrack Rd. NW, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32547.
