Adam Lubert  “Latch” Latiolais, 80, of Shalimar, Florida passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at his home.

Born in Notleyville, Louisiana, he was the son of the late Gilbert and Irene (Leger) Latiolais.  Adam served in the Navy as a Petty Officer 2nd class (medical corpsman) from 1955-1959.  Adam was an entrepreneur and ran many small businesses during his life.  He was a good and honest man who enjoyed reading and spending time with his loved ones.

Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, are his wife JoDell Dugal Latiolais, daughter Renée Yvette Latiolais, step-daughter Shawn Blanchard and step-grandson Michael Bourg.  Surviving are his companion, Joanne Goode and her daughter Gretchen Goode; a sister Jacquelin Latiolais Martin; children Ray Latiolais ; Shyra Latiolais, husband Gus Pelias, and son Alec Fatherree; Patti Barletta husband, Tony and children Brian and Olivia;  Beth LaCour husband, Mark, and children Stephen, Claire, and Renée.  Adam is also survived by his stepdaughter Renée Bourg Vannoy, Joanne’s son Richard Goode,  several nieces and nephews and step grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 1 pm at the Family Life Church 2223 Dulles Drive in Lafayette, LA
